911 is the best number to report a wildfire.
Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is the biggest fire department in our state. Its website has a lot of useful information for wildfire.
According to David Way, Fire Management Forester at Northwest Region of WA State Department of Natural Resources (DNR), a link below has the best and most current information for wildfire preparedness.
PLEASE SHARE: SVENA has been working for several years with DNR Northwest Region, Weyerhaeuser and Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) on reduction of toxic spraying on forest lands of the Skykomish River Valley and its watershed. Please show your support for our efforts by going to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SVENAofSky/ and liking and/or commenting on our pinned Facebook post about this. We will share your input with DNR, Weyerhaeuser and SPI.
