PLEASE SHARE: NEXT TOXIC AERIAL SPRAY by Weyerhaeuser is soon coming in our watershed at the Gold Bar area, upper Wallace River. This spray may take place any time and multiple times without warning after approval on June 5 of its Forest Practice Application (FPA) # 2816934.
YOUR WRITTEN COMMENTS WILL HELP OUR VALLEY A LOT. PLEASE SEND YOUR SHORT COMMENTS to Emily Conklin of Weyerhaeuser emily.conklin@weyerhaeuser.com, and also to Department of Natural Resources (DNR) northwest.region@dnr.wa.gov.
Some of the poisons in the spray will include clopyralid, hexazinone, sulfometuron methyl.
You can express your concerns, request them not to spray no matter how well the American chemical industry regulates itself and EPA, and/or request advance notification if they do spray.
Our watershed provides drinking water for our public and private water sources. Spraying poisons in our watershed is against WA State laws.
