Dear Skykomish Valley Residents,

We hope that you and your family have a safe and fun Labor Day holiday!


Below is important information for safety and the toxic aerial spraying 2019 on industrial tree plantations in our watershed. Aerial spraying takes place close to our communities. Some of the spray ingredients include Glyphosate, Imazapyr, Atrazine, Clopyralid, Hexazinone, 2,4-D. With help from the powerful chemical industry, EPA permits these and many other toxic chemicals for every-day use in our watersheds.

The Poison Papers is a diverse set of internal memos, court depositions, and other documents detailing pesticide and chemical safety concerns of companies, government regulators, and their employees.

It is against WA State law to pollute with toxic substances watersheds that have public and private water sources:

Chapter 35.88 RCW “Water Pollution—Protection From”
RCW 70.54.010 “Polluting Water Supply – Penalty”
